Kallista

Pure Russian born 25 May 2010 by Premium stallion Sambist out of AHS Premium mare GAS Pepelka. Kallista is eligible for Premium progeny classes and competition and earned a First Premium at the 2012 BEF (British Equestrian Federation) Futurity evaluations to add to her wins in hand in the show ring.

Trained by Davina Godwin in hand, Kallista has now joined Paul Simmon's Zayin Arabian stud and gone into race training with Pete Hammersley, at PJH Racing. This big strong elegant mare has excellent conformation and a lengthy stride which promises a successful future under saddle. She makes her debut at Wolverhamption Races in May 2015. Kallista is in foal to top-rated French racing champion No Risk Al Maury for 2021.

Despite staying with the leading three for most of the race, Kallista couldn’t quite keep up pace in the final furlong, and finished a creditable 4th

2010 bay filly Kallista was Gadebrook's first pure Russian foal from Sambist - and has succeeded our expectations. Big and bold from birth she has continued to thrive and should make 15.2hh or 15.3hh like her parents.
