Crabbet mare Brightstar is one of the last progeny of international ridden champion Bright Cavalier and pure-Crabbet mare Nishtar so second generation Gadebrook breeding, now owned by Ros Jones and her enthusiastic young family.

She tackled the Man v Horse race in mid-Wales in June 2014 (left) finishing in fine form and keen to compete again in 2015, hopefully with half-sister, Bright Dawn and her owner Sue Loveridge.
