After representing Great Britain in
the Junior Team championships in Italy in 2003, Croix de Guerre, ridden
by Anna Welch, qualified in 2004 for the senior team over the 160km course
at Thetford. Croix de Guerre and Anna had completed
160km over two days at the Red Dragon Ride in Wales in 2002, but Thetford
was his first attempt at a one-day 160km race . They came 5th in the senior
class and Anna was the first-placed British rider. Croix de Guerre is now sold to Swedish
National Team rider Kim Klotz for competition and stud duties in Sweden.
