Mariska is the latest addition to our pure Russian breeding programme
at Gadebrook. Big, bold, bay and beautiful, Mariska arrived on
27 June 2013, the product of two AHS Premium horses. In October
2014 she flew to America to join the Russian breeding programme
of Dr Larry Cohen based at Patty Bailey's Phase II ranch in New
England where she settled immediately.
She is by international Arab long-distance race champion and
leading racing sire Sambist (bred at Tersk), out of the gentle
GAS Pepelka, dam of Gadebrook's bay filly Kallista (2010), full
sister to Mariska.

Mariska has been handled from birth but is an independent spirit,
and already shows awesome movement. She is bred from the very
finest proven bloodlines to race and stay the distance.
Mariska being vetted immediately prior
to her export to the USA as a yearling in September 2014
