Pevensey Zariffia is part of the Boomerang Plan - Anne's effort to increase the pure Crabbet gene pool in England by bringing back long lost lines from Australia. Zariffia will be covered in 2013 by a pure
Crabbet stallion, and will appear at the World Crabbet Convention Parade on Saturday 20 July 2013.

Zariffia's importation has been long in the planning. I fell in love with her dam, Veridan Za'aria when I saw her with her filly Ghia in Australia in 2005 - and then saw photos of the full sister Zariffia in
2006. But breeder Leon Bennett wasn't selling. Now on the closure of Pevensey Stud, Leon has allowed this beautiful mare to come to Gadebrook.

IRT arranged the transportation and the mares arrived safely, if somewhat jet-lagged, on October 25 2012, to be met by an Arctic blizzard the following day!
