Rishafieh

How is this for coincidence!

Rishafieh, the mare who went to the Doyles' Crabbet stud in the USA and ended up with Sherry Stewart's grandmother near Vancouver in the 1930s.

She was one of the mares who inspired Sherry to go in for Crabbet breeding, and my vet happened to emigrate to her part of Canada. He told her about Magic Domino, who was then 3, and advised her to buy him, if I would sell him.

As I was doing so much travelling, I thought it the best thing, so after a great deal of frantic vet organisation, tests etc ,he flew off to Canada, won everything in ridden showing and sired some super stock, including some for Mark and Kim by AI in Tennessee.

When Domino was 12, Mark managed to buy him for Kim's birthday, without telling her, and she woke up to see this beautiful pure white 16hh Crabbet stallion on their lawn at Arabian Dream Farm. The rest is history as Kim took him to the very top in ridden showing and dressage.

He was then made a "Living Legend" and finally he won US "Sport Horse Sire of the Year" over ALL breeds in 2009.
