Silver Sunbeam

Silver Sunbeam is an exquisite feminine grey mare, our first from Binley Prince Salim out of the lovely old Crabbet mare PHA Silver Heart, who was kindly loaned to Gadebrook by Mary O'Rourke and Jean and David Peck. When Sunbeam was on loan to Spirit Arabians she produced a striking filly for them by their pure Crabbet champion Marbon Masadi in 2014, called SA Shimmering Spirit, Youngstock Champion at the 2016 Crabbet show at Equifest.

Sunbeam has been sold, in foal to Indian Idyll, to OSO Arabians in Australia. With her bloodlines and movement, she will make a valuable contribution to their Crabbet gene pool. We wish them every success with this lovely mare.

She has the sweetest temperament, the longest legs and the finest pedigree you could wish for. Silver Sunbeam is 100% Crabbet and SCID clear.

Born in somewhat dramatic circumstances one morning in the paddock behind the house as a visitor, Tracey Stephens, from Australia arrived - who immediately got stuck in to pull the filly out with Anne's help. "Typical", she wrote, in the Visitors' Book, "I come on a visit and end up working!"
