Summertime Blues came to Gadebrook Stud for two years, kindly on loan from Rosemary Archer.

She produced two lovely grey fillies by Shaded Silver - Rhapsody in Blue in 2005 and Rose of Summer in 2006 (now owned by Scottish National Endurance Team rider Libby Whittome) - both 100% Crabbet.

Her superb bloodlines have been recognised by the Crabbet fraternity when she was invited to parade at the UK Crabbet Convention in 2002.

Her sire is the successful racehorse Indian Idyll, who, just four days after her birth in 1996, won at Fontwell Park.

Summertime Blues was 3rd at the AHS South East Region "C" Show as a three-year old, the only time shown.

A reminder of Summertime Blues's stay at Gadebrook are the two lovely portraits painted by Peter Upton.
